At an investment conference on Tuesday, the chief executive of Electronic Arts talked of EA’s upcoming releases and how they hope to boost their share in two key video games areas. They are very openly targeting their big rivals Activision Blizzard.

EA’s Battlefield 3 is being pitted against the Call of Duty series and likewise Star Wars against World of Warcraft. So, EA are aiming at the huge market areas of fist person shooters and massive multi-player online (MMO) games.
